Hello Everyone,
My name is Maxi – but you can call me Max. I’m an affectionate and adorable Bichon Havanese boy of three who is ten pounds of fun and resilience – and comes in a very handsome package!
Mom says I’m calm, affectionate and mellow, a wonderful cuddlebug with a sweet demeanor who is eager to please. I like other dogs (I’m always up for a game of Fetch) and love to play in a pack. In fact before I became a furkid I lived with four other bichons and a Dad who loved us dearly. When he got sick though we had to find other homes and I was lucky enough to find a foster Mom with two bichons who welcomed me to her family.
It’s clear that I know how to sit and will roll over quite happily for a belly rub. Mom says I’m partial, however, to chin tickles and chest rubs– but my true love is an ear scratch. I’m not a barker (but will let you know if someone comes to the door) and love going for rides in the car. I’m enthusiastic about walks although Mom says I need a bit of guidance on leash etiquette. Did I mention that I’m housebroken? Because I’m so good, I get to sleep in the Big People’s Bed where I sleep quietly all night long.
I love my dog bed but I’m most content if I can be next to you on the couch. I will sleep on the floor next to you, and wait to be invited up to a sofa or chair. (Mom says that shows what good manners I have.) I do like to be near you and will follow you around the house. But I’m also independent enough to go and nap in another room if you are occupied. I’m not underfoot or invasive – I just like to know where you are.
If offered, I will gently take a treat from your hand. Mom says I’m very clever and treat motivated so it will be easy to train me if you take the time.
My Aunties say I have a really adorable personality and am very gentle and loving. So if you are looking for an intelligent, caring and adorable bichon boy, who is handsome as he is affectionate, and have a furkid or two for me to be with, then look no further. Just ask for me – I’ll be waiting to be yours.
