Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Polar Bear was rescued from a local kill shelter where he originally had arrived as a stray. He was neutered when he came in but only about two years old so he had a home at one time, but as is often the sad case, no one came to claim him so he went up for adoption. At this time a Furry Friends volunteer went to the shelter to get him and just before she arrived, a family adopted him. Seemed like potential for a happy ending, but alas, it was not to be. Less than one month later, poor Polar Bear was back. Seems he had been snuck in an apartment complex without paying the pet deposit. When they were caught, instead of paying the pet deposit so they could keep Polar Bear, they returned him to the shelter. This time he was picked up by Furry Friends the same day he was returned and he entered FFAR's foster/adoption program. Here he sits waiting for a more permanent home than the ones he has had so far. Forever would be great! Polar Bear gets along with dogs, cats and kids and likes to play. He is considered "odd-eyed" which is always super cool - one eye is blue and the other gold. He is a stunningly beautiful cat. Please fill out an application and adopt him today! Polar Bear is sweet and unique, a great combo!
