Hi People,
My name is Smokey and I’m a little one-year-old sweetheart, My Aunties think I’m a Bichon Havanese on the small size (not quite 7 pounds) with a big personality! I have hair (not fur) and whatever I am I’m definitely mixed with cuteness!
Mom says I am very playful! I love to run after balls and wrestle with my doggy foster brother. If no one is around to play with me, then I entertain myself (with my toys, of course!) And there is no doubt also that I am VERY smart! I’m housebroken, love to go for rides (in the car) and walks (on a leash). You see, I already learned how to figure things out – and I like to get approval for my new-found skills. In other words, I want to please!
Dad says I am a good listener and a great companion! I like to be wherever he or Mom is – but I am not intrusive. If I can lie nearby, that is fine. If I can be in someone’s lap, well that is even better!!! And Mom says that I’m very gentle and well-behaved. I never jump up or paw her. She says I’m so cute that your heart just melts when I look at you.
My human foster siblings (the ones with 2 legs) say I do everything well. I’ve learned to come when I’m called (and that’s not as common as you’d think), am respectful and very sweet.
My family says I would be happiest in a home with a doggy brother or sister—and with a family that is home a lot. And if my family could take me on lots of walks and rides in the car, I’d think I was in heaven. (That and cuddling a lot, too!) I am just a happy, fun-loving and playful little guy who rarely barks, never complains, loves to give doggy kisses and has a great big loving heart.
