Look at this face! Meet Butterscotch, our adorable 6 month old puppy. She weighs about 30 pounds (she looks much bigger in these pictures) and should be a medium size dog as an adult. She is doggy door trained, and is potty trained already! She may be a bit slow to warm up, but she does pretty quickly. She loves to play with her toys, especially the bones and the balls. She is a kind, gentle hearted girl, who will love you once she knows you. She gets along with other dogs. She's at the perfect age to begin her life with you, - she is going to make a great companion. She is eager to learn, and training with her is going to be fun!

As part of your adoption contract, you will be required to transport the puppy to complete his/her shots, as well as for their spay/neuter at a later date. While puppies are adorable and cute, they are a lot of work. They take time, dedication, and above all, commitment. They will require training (we give you 4 training sessions with us). The rescue strives to give you a puppy that has a good foundation for you to build upon. We are a FORCE FREE rescue. The adoption contract you will be signing specifically states that you agree to NEVER use any aversive methods nor tools like a shock, prong or choke collar. We are never sure about breed because we do not do DNA (we make our best guess), so if that is important to you, these puppies may not be the right choice for you. Please, consider everything when making a decision to adopt a puppy.

As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. You will receive 6 mths of HW preventative. You will receive a free bag of premium puppy food, as well as a gift card from Choice Pet Market. You will also receive a free complimentary physical exam with a vet. Training is MANDATORY and will be scheduled at a later date and place.

About One Dog Arizona

About Our Rescue Group...

We are One Dog Arizona a non profit dog rescue which started 5 years ago to help local e-listed dogs. One Dog is a small volunteer based organization which believes all dogs have value and a family that would be perfect for them if only given a chance. Our dogs are kept strictly in foster homes throughout Arizona where they are socialized and learn the important manners necessary for living side by side with humans in such a way that benefits both human and canine.

We are always looking for both foster families to house and care for our dogs while they await a forever family and volunteers to help network and care for our dogs while they attend adoption events.

Donations of any kind are greatly appreciated and needed. Exercise pens, dog toys, harnesses and food/treats are always needed. As is hand sanitizer--to help keep our dogs healthy--and spray bleach to keep their crates clean.

Our Adoption Process...

All our adoptions require a home check prior to a dog being left in the home.

We require an adoption contract along with an adoption fee which ranges from$250-$400 depending on the dog and the amount of veterinary/supportive care they received while in rescue
