Here's what the humans have to say about me:
At only 9 months old, Rusty is a wonderful dog in the making. He loves everyone he meets and is ready for a home where he receives the love and attention he thrives on.
His ideal home is one where his human(s) have the time, patience and desire to help this great dog become an amazing dog. Love, obedience training and a securely fenced yard are a must.
Rusty weighs 48lb and gets along with other dogs, cats, chickens and children. Because of his size and "medium" energy level, a home with children 7 and up is ideal.
He is crate trained, leash trained, knows sit, "off", rides great in the car, loves his toys and barks or "cries" when he needs to go outside.
Please remember Rusty is still a puppy with puppy-like behavior. He's waiting on you to mold him into a star!
Rusty is being fostered in SE Tennessee (zip code 37323) and we ask that you please consider the travel distance before completing an adoption application on this beautiful sable and white Collie boy.
If you are interested in this dog; and wish additional information, you MUST submit an application on our website. Once we receive your application, an interviewer will call you and try to answer any additional questions you may have.
In order to continue our rescue efforts and help more dogs, we require an adoption donation ranging
from $75 - $450, depending on the age, breed and the expenses incurred on the individual dog.
Our application can be found at http://www.tristatecollierescue.org/ under the adopt tab. Thank you
