ucy's certainly got some 'splainin' to do about her fantastic cuteness. On the outside... amazingly smooshable, flap-in-the-wind flubbers (a.k.a. jowls for all you Boxer newbies), adorably droopy eyes, a beautiful brindle coat, and she is the softest dog ever. On the inside? One word. Perfection. Our Boxer girl has a heart of gold, she's eager to please, and she is a friend to all - dogs, cats, and kids. At 2 years old, she's one of the most mellow young Boxers we have had the pleasure of rescuing. Of course, when her people come home, she excitedly snuffs, grunts, and wiggles her body at approximately 110 miles an hour. She is still a Boxer after all. Lucy is a velcro dog and though she is fine being home alone, she loves nothing more than being with her people. She follows her foster mom from room to room and hops in bed every night to sleep with her human foster brother. Under the covers no less. If you are looking for your absolute best friend, Lucy is your girl. She is a skilled co-pilot, great on leash, mastering her basic commands (especially if there are treats involved), and has her head tilt down pat. Plus she is always up for an adventure, though you can plan on stopping every few feet on a walk so people can "oooh" and "aaah" over her and shower her with endless compliments. Lucy is 55 pounds, crate trained, house trained, spayed, up do date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. We Love Lucy. (You know we couldn't go without saying it). You will too.
