Facts about Sparrow

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 45225
  • Hair: Short
Sparrow is a handsome 5-month old male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on August 5, 2017 along with his mother (Lady Bird) and his siblings (Chickadee, Finch, and Wren) after they were found in the Marietta Ohio area.

Sparrow has a brown tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and a darling kitten face with dark golden eyes and a brown button nose. Sparrow is the ultimate playboy and dearly loves attention. He was enjoying playing silly kitten games and was even sillier (which is a good term when describing a kitten) when we gave him one of our high-quality catnip pillows for entertainment. That was the end of the serious photos :)

Sparrow was given vaccinations, wormer, and Revolution flea treatment on August 5, 2017. He weighs 5.2 lbs and is the largest of his siblings. Sparrow will be neutered before he is adopted and leaves our shelter. He is available for foster/rescue at any time. Naturally we'd love to see him adopted with one or more of his siblings (or his beautiful mother).

Incidentally, we should probably have re-namred this boy 'Jack Sparrow' since we originally thought he was a big girl when we gave him the name Sparrow :)

Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues..
