Meet Birdie! Birdie came to us from a kill shelter, along with her 4 puppies on the day they were born – July 11th. Birdie is a very sweet girl who loves to be with people. She goes outside reluctantly because she prefers to be in where her people are. She is going to make a wonderfully loving, loyal companion to the family who gives her a forever home. Birdie will be weaning her puppies soon and be spayed as soon as she is able to be after she is done taking care of her babies. She should be ready to start her new puppy-free life in early September. It is hard to see in pictures, but Birdie is a petite girl -- approximately 20 lbs.
