My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gus, the Theatre Cat from Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Cats, is quite the sagacious fellow even though he initially appears rather befuddled. As he speaks, his confidence grows, captivating his listeners and drawing them into his unforgettable story. Our Gus may be of the canine persuasion and a bit confused by his current situation, but he is very wise and has his own unforgettable story to tell. Gus' previous owner lost her home in one of the recent devastating fires. With nowhere else to go, she moved in with her mother, taking her beloved Gus with her. For reasons no one understands, her mother then surreptitiously took poor Gus to the pound, dumping him there as a stray. But, alas, he was microchipped, and the shelter contacted his owner, who tried desperately to convince her mother to allow Gus to come home. Her pleas, however, fell on deaf ears, and she was forced to surrender her faithful companion. Well, when a wonderful shelter volunteer told us Gus' compelling story, how could we not give this sweet boy a chance at finding his true forever home? At six years old, Gus is in his prime. He is as fun loving as a pup but possesses the wisdom that comes with age and will, thus, be the perfect companion. He weighs 28 pound and is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. So, what are you waiting for? Come meet this sagacious fellow! You'll be very glad you did!
