My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✰✰ MOO Female 4 years & AVAILABLE - for more photos of MOO please click http://norcalbcrescue.org/moo_2017.html ✰✰

Meet MOO! This gentle soul has wiggled herself right into our hearts with her laid back personality and beautiful big brown eyes. MOO has a lovely black and white rough coat, and will lean into us for petting for as long as we will pet her. She also happens to be the easiest dog to bathe that we have ever seen! She stands calmly and even lifts her little white feet up as we go around to wash them. So sweet! She cleans up beautifully, with a soft silky coat that is hard to keep our hands off of

While MOO can get a case of the wiggles when she first greets us, overall she is one of the most calm and quiet house guests we have had. MOO is content to find a comfy spot on the floor near her people, though she has been known to come onto the couch for quiet time when invited. MOO already knows to go into her crate for meals and bedtime where she sleeps quietly through the night. MOO has not had an accident in her foster home and knows to go outside to handle her business. She also knows a few basic commands such as "COME" and "SIT". With the help of some treats and praise she ready to learn more. Though MOO is a larger border collie, she is aware of it and stays calm and careful indoors. Fun fact: MOO completely ignores the cats in her foster home, so a home with cats would be just fine for her.

MOO also gets along fine with the other dogs in her foster home, even acting a bit playful when engaged for playtime with her younger foster brother. He gets bored with her quickly though, as MOO doesn't seem too interested in playing with him on and on; she'd much rather soak in some love from her people. MOO also enjoys going for a walk outside and following along with her foster mom as they tend to the chores, and already does fine on a leash.

Our ideal home for MOO would be with someone that can be with her more often than not, that works from home, or can take MOO to work where she will likely just find a spot to lay down to await an occasional walk around the building. She would be fine as an only dog, as her principal concerns are her people. If you're looking for a loyal and sweet companion, MOO is for YOU!

MOO is micro-chipped, spayed, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations.
