Eastwood - Foster Needed's Story...
Eastwood is under a year old. He is a very striking young man with a black coat and icey BLUE eyes. Very unique....maybe there is a Husky in his background somewhere, but he is smaller....a medium size boy. He does well on a leash and he is crate trained. He's learning some new commands and doing great. He loves other dogs and he's very energetic and healthy. He will do best in a home with a fenced yard so he can run and he'd probably like another dog buddy for fun and play.
Eastwood is ready for adoption, but in the meantime he needs a foster home so we can get him out of the kennel at our vet's office. HART pays all vet expenses for foster dogs, and we'll supply the food and a crate, etc. Foster homes supply the love and guidance and transportation to vet appts (if needed) and adoptathons. If the foster decides to adopt, they'll have the first opportunity, otherwise we'll keep looking for a permanent home. Fosters save lives!! We cannot save dogs from suffering without foster homes. Please give it a try, if it doesn't work out, we'll find a new foster. Thanks!!

Eastwood is so deserving of a warm home. Please say yes.

All HART dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, including bordatella. They are heartworm negative and on preventative for heartworm and fleas/ticks. Please complete an online foster application or dog adoption application at . THANKS from all the innocent lives!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eastwood - Foster Needed, a Cincinnati Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
