Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Imogene is one mixed up dog, but totally to your advantage! First of all, she’s a beagle mix, tri-colored and in some ways nuthin’ but a hound dog, but she is taller girl with a sweet face and soft fur. The other thing she is mixed up about is whether she’s a puppy or full grown dog! Actually she’s the best of both worlds: young enough to be playful with the adorable clumsiness and the zest for life of a pup, but she also has the maturity to be able to cuddle up, chew a bone without the constant need for motion of a younger pup. She’s also housebroken and able to be crated for longer than a puppy, and does not chew furniture or personal effects.
Imogene is extremely good natured, wants to and succeeds in being friends with everyone, four legged and two legged. If she is rebuffed by other dogs, it just bounces off her, no hurt feelings; she just keeps her distance and tries again later! All the other fosters, from the tiny ten pounders to the sturdy Alpha dogs have come to enjoy her playfulness. She is affectionate and happy.
She’s also a little mixed up about her size! She’s a medium sized dog, but boy does she ever love a lap. But it’s okay, if yours isn’t big enough she’ll curl up to fit of just spill over a bit…not much seems to distress Imogene and since she is part beagle she has that determination to make things happen the way she wants!
