My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***Please note Shelby is heartworm positive and we are now treating her with our heartworm protocal until we can raise funds for her full heartworm treatment***

Shelby is approximately 2 years old. She is a solid white German Shepherd. She is gorgeous and very sweet. Shelby is spayed, up to date on all of her vaccinations, flea, and tick prevention. Shelby was found in a backyard with 2 other dogs and was released to the local animal control facility because of abandonment.

Shelby would like to go home to someone that will spend lots of time with her and treat her like the perfect princess she was meant to be. She is sweet, loving and loves to be by your side. She is also very protective and will wait for your Okay regarding any new visitors that come to the home. Since being in her foster home she has had no issues with her foster brothers and sisters. However, due to her over protection issues we feel a home without small children is best. We are not sure how she is with cats but a cat check can be requested. She is crate trained and prefers to sleep in her crate at night.
