Here is the newest sweet addition to the LFS gang. This sweet lab mix is Bocce. He is on the small side and probably will not be bigger than 45-50 pounds. He was born on the 4th of March 2008, making him a little under a year old. Help us make sure Mr. Bocce will celebrate his birthday in a new home! More updates and better pictures will be posted soon as we learn more about him.

UPDATE: We have learned that Bocce absolutely LOVES kids. He is very gentle with them and love to get belly rubs from a kid, no matter how young.

UPDATE FROM THE FOSTER MOM: Bocce is now almost 2 years old. He's doing great. Bocce is a very smart, alert and precious dog. I take him out around four times a day with shorter walks - but only two or three since it's been so cold out, and a little longer walks, and he does well with that. Bocce LOVES kids and is doing better with other dogs. A home with children would probably be a plus for him.
