Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jack Frost was rescued at a TN state park and proved to be a survivor. He had been there a while and was skinny, starving and cold. He's tough for his age and is around 5years old. When he loves you he will roll over on his back and wait for you to pick him up. He is super affectionate, a lap dog at only around 5lbs. He has to be gently introduced to new people & surroundings because his life on the streets has made him cautious. His tail never stops wagging when happy. He loves to explore in the house & will follow you around the house. He loves toys and he really enjoys playing with cats. He seems a little threatened by other dogs and can co-exist but doesn't play with them as he does cats. He is 100% puppy pad trained if gated to a room.while you are out. This boy has a grim past. Let's give him an awesome future where he can give and receive love. Probably not best with children due to his fear if grabbed.
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
