Meet Rocket, a 2 year old pup so spunky and handsome that he turns heads everywhere he goes. This athletic brindle boy is the life of the party, and would love to find an active forever home with a fresh supply of tennis balls to chase! And who needs date night when you have a loyal plus one thats ready for anything? Hiking, running, day at the beach, visiting cranky Aunt Sally or whatever your plan is, this loyal boy is up for the adventure. At the end of a long day of entertaining humans and playing with pup pals, Rocket LOVES a good snuggle (rated a 5 star hugger by his foster mom). Add all that to being great with other pups and kids, Rocket is the total package! Weighing in at a svelte 45lbs, Rocket is a medium sized fun-loving goof ball that just can't wait for his people to come take him home.
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! CPR will be at Petland Discounts in Southbury on Friday October 12th from 2-6pm. Saturday, October 13th CPR will be at PetSmart in Meriden from 10am-2pm. Lastly on Sunday October 14th, CPR will be partnering with Black Hog Brewery for Barktober Fest from 1-5pm. This event is at Black Hog Brewery located at 115 Hurley Rd Oxford, CT. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $425 which includes the $50 fee necessary to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are an MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
