Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATE 6/7/09: Secret is still waiting in foster care. He is a wonderful and loving cat. Please e-mail us to set up a time to meet him.
UPDATE 4/25/09: Secret is still doing well in foster care. He loves being brushed and pet and his foster mom has learned so much about him. He does not spray and is a very good litter box user. He gets along with the other cats, but he needs to find a place to call his own. Please e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com if you are interested in meeting Secret and to learn more about our adoption process.
POSTED 3/7/09: Secret has a sad story to tell that we hope will have a happy ending. We think Secret is about 4-5 years old. He is a blue eyed long haired cream colored with tabby points Himalayan mix. Secret was not born a bobtail but he has one now. This is one of the most loving and affectionate cats you will ever meet. We know that Secret spent that past several years living at a local dump. A good Samaritan would bring food to the dump weekly to help feed him and a few other cats, but Secret would also hunt to survive. About a month ago Secret went missing for a few weeks. When he returned his tail has a severe injury and was rotting off. The good Samaritan took him to the vet where he had surgery to amputate his tail and save his life. Now, 2 weeks later, Secret has made a full recovery. He still needs time for his hair to grow back but he is doing well and has already gained over a pound since being dewormed and fed regularly. This guy loves being brushed and pet. He loves to have his cheeks and chin rubbed and he has a very easy going personality. Secret will remain in foster care until the perfect forever home can be found for him. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Secret, please e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com for an adoption questionnaire. All of our cats and kittens are leukemia tested, vet checked, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas with advantage prior to adoption. Our adoption fee is $100 per cat or kitten to help cover some of the medical costs.
