My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brad
breed: Pit Bull
DOB: 4/3/04
weight: 50lbs
good with: cats, passive female dogs his size and up, children 10-up, adults
medical history: neutered, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm negative
training: crate trained, leash trained, house trained, basic obedience (sit, stay, down, heal, come, wait, leave it, fetch, give paw)
owner experience level: must have experience with power breeds

Born by c-section to a neglected mom, Brad and his only surviving sibling had to be hand raised by us from birth, so we know EVERYTHING about him.. His brother has been adopted so now it's his turn. He loves to be with people and follows me everywhere. The one thing I regret now is that we didn't expose him to small children as a puppy so he gets defensive when small children approach his cage. Brad has a lot of energy and will need daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep him happy. His favorite game is fetch with his favorite blue ball which he can take with him when adopted. If he doesn't get enough exercise to burn his energy, he will let you know by playing with things that don't belong to him. He thrives on consistency with rules and boundaries. He was raised with cats and doesn't bother them, he is male dog aggressive and only gets along with passive females like his best friend Cha Cha. Because of his eagerness to please, he would make a good candidate for obedience trials and I'm beginning to test him on his ability to track, so there may be potential for that as well. I would like him to be adopted with Cha Cha, but it is not required.

If you would like more information about one of the dogs featured above, be sure to send a note to the "Contact Person." This is the person fostering the dog and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't just show up at Adoption Day expecting every dog to be there. We are limited by the number of volunteers who can help at each Adoption Day.
Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the best match between you and one of our dogs.
