My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, My name is Roscoe!! I am a 1 1/2 year old and 50 pound tri-paw Great Pyrenees /Lab mix. A very kind woman noticed me chained to a tree day after day, a spot I spent most of my time as my elderly owner could no longer properly care for me. The kind woman was able to talk my owner into giving me a fresh start with a family that could offer the love and exercise I so badly wanted, so here I am, looking for that happy ending. When I went into rescue, the vet discovered a leg injury that was inoperable and my back hind right leg had to be amputated.
Sometimes people look at me with pity, but I wish I could tell them its better now that I'm not in constant pain. And don't get me wrong, having 4 legs was pretty cool, but my disability doesn't slow me down. I still love walks, hikes, soaking up the sun in a kiddie pool, and playing with pups, kids, and even kitties too. If you want to feel sorry for someone, pity humans. God only gave them two legs, after all. I know now that I'm living in a fabulous foster home what life is supposed to be like, and I know theres people out there that truly need me. If I can wake up everyday happy and grateful for a new chance at life even after all that I've endured, I know I can bring that same joy and hope into a family thats in need of some pup love. To my future family, if you're reading this, please give me chance. I promise to be the best boy ever and that my disability will show you how much joy there is in life no matter what the challenges. We'll conquer anything together. 🐾❤️
