Here is what Kristi wrote about Max: We need to find a loving home for our dog "Max". He is a full bred beagle and is 6 yrs old. He's got a great temperment and is wonderful with other dogs, cats and children. He's completely housebroken, neutered and received his last rabies shot 2 years ago. He does not howl like most beagles and only barks when someone knocks at the door or when he meets another dog for the first time. He's excellent with strangers, actually, so happy go lucky and jolly. He still has a lot of love and life left in him! He's on the "bigger" side as far as size goes, weighing about 45-50lbs. He's got tri-color markings and really pretty eyes. We can no longer afford to keep him, my husband is out of work. Please help!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MAX, a Ventnor City Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Ventnor City, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Ventnor City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ventnor City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ventnor City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ventnor City paves the way for another one to be saved.
