Z Diddy is a great little pup. As of 8/15/18 he is 14-16 weeks old. He is a mix of Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix. He weighs in at about 20 lbs and just a happy, healthy loving little guy. He gets along fine with all dogs and cats and kids. He loves chewies, sticks, squeaky toys, soft stuffed toys and balls. He loves to play and is a medium energy level guy. He loves to run and believes he is very very fast! He sleeps all night in his crate and has never made a mess in it. This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! First, CPR will be at Petland Discounts in Southbury, CT on Friday, September 7th from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be at the Weston Kiwanis Club Annual Dog Jamboree at Weston Middle School in Weston, CT on Saturday, September 8th from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be hosting an open house at our adoption center, located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd, Southbury on Sunday September 9th from 10-1pm for an adoption event. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee.
If you are an MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
