Baby Girl's Story...
Baby Girl is a 2-year-old, spayed female who is SO funny, sweet and friendly. She LOVES male dogs and just wants to play, play, play. She's very puppyish and will have you laughing in no time. Baby Girl has a contagious smile and a heart of gold. She LOVES people. Baby Girl is housetrained and looking for a family to love for life. She is smart and loves to learn. She is learning to walk well on a loose leash. Baby Girl is a people pleaser. She just wants you to love her and she'll be the best friend you've ever had. She is not good with cats though. Adoption fee: $75.

Adoption Process:
Send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week trial run with the pet as part of your family. This is a trial period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the trial time and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby Girl, a Troy Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Troy, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
