Trigger is around 7 months old and weighs 40 lbs. He is a very happy, outgoing, and friendly pup that is going to make the most amazing family companion and best friend. He is great with kids and enjoys going to his foster brother’s baseball games. Trigger is crate trained and does a very good job of being quite while in his crate. His foster parents crate him while they sleep and say he doesn’t make a peep. Trigger is doing great with house training and is almost 100% there! He is working on his leash training as well. Trigger is good with other dogs. He is a little over eager with cats but his foster mom has a cat and he will continue to work on his cat manners. Trigger’s favorite toy is the tennis ball followed closely by the baseball. He loves when his foster dad hits balls around the yard for him to chase. Once all of his energy is exercised out, Trigger loves to plop on the lap of one of his foster family members. He is just the best!
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! CPR will be at Ace Hardware in Oxford on Friday July 5th from 2-6pm. On Saturday, July 6th CPR will be at Petco in Southington from 10am-2pm. On Sunday July 7th CPR will be hosting and Open House at the adoption center located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury from 10am-1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $525 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
