Toby and Teddy's Story...
It's the "Toby and Teddy" show!! Toby and Teddy are big personality in little dog bodies. They are such cuties-- they have won the hearts of everyone they meet. Two Terrier mix brothers aged 4 and 8 years old respectively, Toby and Teddy are incredibly sweet and loving. Their story is this-- they had a great home, but thier owner passed away and now they live at the Humane Society of New York patiently waiting for another home where they can sit on laps, give kisses, and generally make someone's day brighter. They are exceptionally friendly, but please no cats! They would like to be adopted together, as they have a very special bond for each other. Teddy has a little trouble seeing with one eye, but it certainly doesn't stop him from enjoying life. Won't you give these little lovies a second chance?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby and Teddy, a New York Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in New York, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
