This sweet boy is around 6 months old and weighs about 30 lbs. He is wonderful with all other dogs and cats. He is a bit shy but just needs lots tlc and love! He was dumped on a back road with his friend Landon and is just a bit unsure still, but has come a long ways since a wonderful volunteer found them and took them in. He is a total love bug and has so much love to give. Humans have let him down in the past, but those days are over and Higgins is going to make such a wonderful family companion that family that is willing to give him the time and care that he do deserves.

Events here! Pup’s with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $525 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
