My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mimi
Purebred American Shorthair
8 yrs old

Mimi 8 yr old female Brown Tabby American Shorthair

Here's another beauty you would never expect to find in a shelter. She a papered American Shorthair. As classic a cat as you could ever hope to find. The owner who left her also left her Cat Fancier's Assn papers so we know her "sire" was a Grand Champion, Heartnsoul Gordon Biersch Maarzen and her "dam" Biamerikitty Lilly -of-the-Nile.

Well Okay that's all very interesting but what is Mimi like.? She is a sweetheart. She loves to rub against your legs and arch her back as she does so. She's playful and inquisitive. She will follow you around and help you with your chores. She finds humans very entertaining. She is an excellent companion. Someone with an empty house would love to have her as a roommate. All she needs is lots of loving attention and a window to look out of. She is a great bird watcher. Is that a hobby you can share together?

She is a fairly quiet girl, happy to sleep on your lap or watch TV with you. She is a solid ,medium sized cat, not small not fragile. She'll put out warmth and a reassuring purr as she sleeps in your bed at night.

Her soft fur is wonderfully colored in shades of brown. Look at the marvelous stripes on her front legs. Her large eyes are the perfect color to go with her coat. She is a gorgeous girl and it is not surprising that she is the daughter of champions.

Altogether a nice, good, beautiful kitty. She's an easy kitty to have around.

She eats mostly dry food and is litter box trained.

Mimi is being fostered in the Santa Cruz area
