Nicky von Nurnberg's Story...
Nicky von Nurnberg is a gorgeous 14 month old German Shepherd. She came to us with her brother Rocky. They were so attached to each other, we were hoping they will get adopted together. However Rocky caught the eye of an adopter and was on his way to his new home the day he came in. Nicky is a sweet girl, a little shy first, but she warms up quickly if you give her a little time. She's good with other dogs and walks well on leash. We would love to see her in a home soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nicky von Nurnberg, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
