Hud's Story...
Meet "Hud", the newest member of the Labrador Friends family. Seems Hud was found wandering around the mall area....maybe looking for a Halloween costume, or perhaps just looking for some kind soul to take him home after their relaxing day of shopping. Hud unfortunately ended up at the shelter! Hud is safe now with his new rescue group and is longing to become the missing puzzle piece of a family searching for a loving furry companion!

Hud is alittle on the thin side. Looks like he may have been on the run for awhile. However, a few extra meals here and there will get him back to where he needs to be. Doesnt seem as though Hud was taught much in the way of leash training or basic commands. But he appears very smart and eager to learn. He rides very well in the car. He does not appear to be a barker. He loves to carry stuffed animal toys around in his mouth. He has not been tested yet with cats. Hud is awesome chocolate lab with slightly hound like ears, and precious dark brown eyes. We think Hud is about 2 years old!

UPDATE FROM THE DOG: "I know it is hard to see but I am a very deep chocolate color. I need to gain some weight but being in boarding is really stressful for me so no matter how much they feed me I consume it all. I am still learning what is going on but I am learning really fast. "

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hud, a Cumming Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Cumming, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Cumming.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cumming already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cumming breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cumming paves the way for another one to be saved.
