My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet "Hud", the newest member of the Labrador Friends family. Seems Hud was found wandering around the mall area....maybe looking for a Halloween costume, or perhaps just looking for some kind soul to take him home after their relaxing day of shopping. Hud unfortunately ended up at the shelter! Hud is safe now with his new rescue group and is longing to become the missing puzzle piece of a family searching for a loving furry companion!

Hud is alittle on the thin side. Looks like he may have been on the run for awhile. However, a few extra meals here and there will get him back to where he needs to be. Doesnt seem as though Hud was taught much in the way of leash training or basic commands. But he appears very smart and eager to learn. He rides very well in the car. He does not appear to be a barker. He loves to carry stuffed animal toys around in his mouth. He has not been tested yet with cats. Hud is awesome chocolate lab with slightly hound like ears, and precious dark brown eyes. We think Hud is about 2 years old!

UPDATE FROM THE DOG: "I know it is hard to see but I am a very deep chocolate color. I need to gain some weight but being in boarding is really stressful for me so no matter how much they feed me I consume it all. I am still learning what is going on but I am learning really fast. "
