1/10/09--PISTOL IS CURRENTLY NOT UP FOR ADOPTION. FOWA JUST FOUND OUT THAT POOR PISTOL WILL NEED SURGERY ON HIS KNEE.WE ARE HOPING THERE ARE SOME GENEROUS PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP US OUT WITH PISTOLS MEDICAL EXPENSES.PISTOL IS YOUNG AND THE DOCTORS EXPECT A FULL RECOVERY .HE DESERVES A CHANCE AT A GOOD LIFE AND FOWA WILL DO ALL WE CAN TO LET HIM HAVE THAT CHANCE. Pistol is one of the sweetest puppies FOWA has seen. He was welcomed into our foster program after we recieved a call that Pistol was hit by a car . His family never had him vaccinated and really didn't have the time for him . Yet he was still SO excited to see them he bolted out the door and the car just couldn't stop in time ... While at the vet office the family decided that they couldn't afford Pistols medical bills so they called us for help. One of our volunteers jumped at the chance to foster Pistol. Danielle is a vet tech at Franklin Lakes Animal hospital and loves German Shepherds so Pistol has been transported there to recover until he can go home to his new foster family. For the first time Pistol will be updated on vaccines and given a new lease on life . Pistol has become very popular at the vet office . Everyone stops by to give Pistol a quick hello and no one walks away with out a smile on their face.We think it will not be long at all before he has a forever family of his own.Pistol's adoption fee is $325.00 and an application can be filled out on our website .
