Kate von Koblenz's Story...
Kate von Koblenz is a pretty 2 year old coated German Shepherd. She is a gentle dog , easy to walk and handle. Kate is affectionate and loves attention, she is quick to roll for belly rubs. Kate shares a kennel run with another dog who came down from the Lancaster Shelter. It is a shelter known for their beautiful dogs because there are so many breeders in the area. Kate has the personality that the coated German Shepherds are famous for, she is so sweet and mild. She does well getting a bath and likes to be brushed. She also takes treats gently out of your hand. Kate does well even at crowded adoption events, with loads of people and new dogs passing on leashes. Also remember the coated shepherds need grooming every couple months but they do not shed as much. Kate would do well in almost any situation, she will make a great family dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kate von Koblenz, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
