Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charlie is a Chihuahua Welsh Pembroke Corgi mix. He weighs approx 14 pounds and is looking for a new forever home after his previous owners took him to a shelter that was high kill and our rescue just couldn't leave such a great dog there when his time was about up.
He is potty trained, and will actually go on your command when on a leash.
He also knows what a doggie door is and will use it, even in the rain.
He loves going on walks or to Fiesta Island for a stroll. He gets along well with other small dogs, but will sometimes bark at the larger ones. He will sit quietly on the sofa while you read or watch TV and He loves to sleep with his person at night.
Charlie would really like a home with someone who has the time to exercise him as he is from a working class breed.
He likes other dogs but does not necessarily need "brothers and sisters"
I think only dog status would be okay with him as long as he isn't alone for more than a normal working day.
If you would like to meet Charlie please send in your filled out application that is found on the web site www.RescueAChihuahua.com.
