Falco is approximately 1 year old. He is a gorgeous Black and Cream German Shepherd. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, flea and tick prevention. He is also microchipped. Falco is light heartworm positive and he will need to stay on Ivermectin until he is negative. We will provide full information regarding our Heartworm treatment protocol.
Falco was found as a Stray. San Juan Animal Clinic in Jacksonville took him in and tried to find his owners while he was in their care. Because nobody claimed him they contacted Rescue to take him in. We were very happy to do so and we thank the staff with all of their help and care for Falco, including naming him.
Falco is a very sweet, and loving boy. He is a bit dominant with other dogs and has a very high drive therefore a home without small animals and small children is preferred. Falco needs an experienced owner, he can be a bit mouthy at times and needs firm handling but with plenty of praise to let him know what is expected from him. He loves to run so a large fenced in yard would be perfect. Falco does like to play with other dogs however he plays really rough and therefore needs an equal playmate to match his size.
Falco does have an injury of some type to his right eye, there is a scratch on his cornea and some cloudiness beneath the scratch, it doesn’t seem to effect his vision we will get him checked over once more when we are able. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, neutered and or spayed, and microchipped.
Adoption fees range from $100 - $450 depending on age, degree of personalized training, and if proof of bloodlines can be provided.
