ASHLEIGH's Story...
This super adorable, loveable, huggable girl is Ashleigh. Like chocolate, she is hard to resist however, she is not fattening! Ashleigh is the perfect size for someone looking for a smaller girl. She is all chocolate with a small white spot on her chest and has smiley Amber colored eyes. Playing ball is her favorite thing to do and she is really good at it. She can find the ball where ever it ends up and she brngs it back and drops it at your feet...over and over and over again! Ashleigh also likes the water.
Ashleigh is recovering from a slight case of Demodex mange on her face, it is healing nicely and it is not contagious. Her previous family did not take very good care of this wonderful girl, we will be looking for that amazing family who will give her a great life going forward.

You will be impressed by how smart she is, having learned to sit, shake, and stay in only a couple of days. She is great with kids of all ages and dogs of all kinds. Ashleigh will sleep on her dog bed or your bed! She is housetrained and behaves very well inside.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ASHLEIGH, a San Diego Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
