My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everybody!

My name is Mallory, and I'm a little girl of maybe 15 months. I only weigh about eleven pounds, so as you can guess, I'm just a little thing in every way! I'm mostly white, but with apricot ears. (I mean that they're kind of apricot colored. Not that my ears are made of apricots!)

One of my favorite things in the whole world is to play. I love to take all the toys out of the toy box. At the end of the day, my Mom has to go find about half of them that I took out and left in the yard! Oops, ha ha. And because I'm just a little girl, I still need plenty of things to chew on, so some of my toys are kinda chewed up. Oh well! With my doggie foster brother and sister, I will "bug" them, with a little smile on my face, until they chase me, which is so much fun! I also like to play with my Mom's clothes as she tries to get dressed. Anything I can reach: shirt sleeves, pant legs, socks, shoes. Sometimes she'll put one sock on, and by the time she reaches for the other, I already ran away with it! It's really a lot of fun. (I can teach you how to do it if you want.) Luckily, my Mom never gets mad because I'm so funny that it makes her laugh every time!

Basically, I will play and play until I'm so tired that I just can't go anymore, and then I will find a corner and lay down and just snooze. Or I am happy to sleep in my crate. I have lots of other good qualities too, like walking nicely on a leash or riding quietly in the car. I learned right away how to use the doggie door with no accidents at all! My Mom says that in her experience a dog who is curious about everything the way that I am will prove to be super smart.

She also says that I'm extremely sociable and give loads of love to everyone. And it's true! People, dogs, kids… just about anybody who will pay attention to me makes me so happy that I wiggle with delight. I would love to be in a home with kids or other dogs, because I'm active and playful and sweet. If I'm on your lap, I will even hold your face between my tiny little paws so I can give you kisses.

So what do you think? Do I sound like a good match for your family? If so, please write and ask for Mallory.

Sweet doggie kisses from,

Mischievous Miss Mallory
