Tatum's Story...
Tatum & her brother Tank are Golden Retriever/Collie mix puppies. They are both really loving and playful and goofy. They have beautiful gentle temperaments and will make loyal family members. They were born around Thanksgiving 11/27/09, so they're almost 3 months old in late February.
They were just rescued and are in a loving foster home where they are learning housetraining and potty training. They are well socialized with other dogs and cats and people.
All HART dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines including bordatella and rabies. They are all heartworm tested and on preventative for heartworm and fleas/ticks.
Please complete an online dog adoption application to get more information and to schedule a meeting with this sweet soul. www.rescueAhart.org Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tatum, a Cincinnati Golden Retriever/Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Collie for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Collie puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
