Hi, my name is Shep. I am a mini, fawn, horsecoat Shar-Pei. I am a little shy and standoffish, but hey, I just got here. I‘ve been through a LOT lately. I came all the way from GA. Whew! That was a long ride. I get along great with the dogs that I live with. It‘s nice to have them around so they can show me stuff. I let my foster mom clean my ears and put meds in my eyes. I really don‘t mind at all, in fact, that ear massage felt pretty good. I am housebroken and already neutered. I had entropian and heartworm when I came in to rescue, but they have been taking really good care of me here.
Update 3/23/2010: Well, I can finally see now. I got my eyes done last Saturday. The nice vet lady told me to keep taking my heartworm preventative and get retested in 6 months for heartworm. I can only take Heartgard, but man, do I love them. I wonder why I wasn’t getting them before? Anyway, I am feeling much better because my mom is taking good care of me, but I still need my own furever home. If you are looking for a small, quiet boy, then look no further; and
fill out an application and ask for Shep.
