Juliet's Story...
Please email us for an application to adopt at ccrescue614@yahoo.com . She is a wonderful sweet girl and is very loving with other cats and a small dog! She would do well also with older children. But she is super shy and needs to go to a quieter home. She has come around in our foster home slowly but still is a hider when loud noises even occur from outdoors. She is wonderful girl once she gets used to her surroundings. She also needs to have her eyes cleaned out in a with a wonderful natural product we use 2 times a day no exception, or she will get eye infections. We will only adopt to a person or home that will agree to use this product faithfully 2 times a day. She has a super extreme face and this is a requirement to adopt this lovely girl. She also has the typical Himalayan coat and needs brushed daily no exception or she will get terribly matted. She is good about being combed and will sit still if getting attention. Do not apply if you have not had experience with a Himalayan or Persian with these grooming needs on a daily basis. It is not fair to the cat for us to consider a home that will not take care of her eyes and coat for her to be healthy and comfortable. We do this to protect and do what is best for our cats always! We require an adoption application and approval before we set an appointment to meet the cat as all of our cats are in private homes for foster care. This is our policy and no exception will be made. As a policy for our rescue we do NOT adopt cats/kittens for gifts. We have to screen the adopter who will be owning the cat. Not a person who is thinking to give as a gift. So if you are looking to adopt for a family member LIVING IN THE SAME HOME AS YOU, then you can applyt. We make no exception to this policy for those wanting to adopt a cat/kitten to give as a gift. If you are interested and want to pay the adoption fee for the person adopting to help them adopt then we screen them and you pay the adoption fee. This is a good option and has been done before. We have all our policies to protect our cats and appreciate youf thinking of a rescue kitty. Thanks for considering a rescue kitty.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small rescue located in Columbus, Ohio and surrounding area. Our cats come primarily from shelters and are then vetted and put into foster homes until they are placed in a forever home. We take in cats who are at risk then put them into rescue where they are safe and are at NO risk to be put to sleep. They are in private homes being fostered and then we work to get them adopted in homes to be loved and taken care of by their adoptive family for the remainder of their lives. We take adoptions very seriously. we are not a 501c3 at this time, but do hope to gain this status in the future. We are always taking donations to help pay vet bills and buy food for the cats in foster. We do not have 501c3 status so we can NOT give a tax deductible receipt for any donations. If you are interested in donating funds and would prefer to donate directly to the veterinary clinic we use in Columbus, please send an e-mail and we can share information with you where to donate.
