She was in such a terrible hoarder situation before we got her that dogs and loud kids scare her. We want a home for her that lets her feel safe and loved in a quiet environment. They will also need to have experience grooming a Persian as she has a lovely coat that will need maintained. She is a good girl lwho oves to be brushed but needs a bit of time to get to know a person. But what super loving sweet and kind girl. She purrs so loud you can hear her across the room. So please email us only if you really have a quiet home and would like a wonderful loving BUFF (Cream) Persian who loves other cats as well. WE NEVER SHIP CATS! We require an adoption application and approval before we set an appointment to meet the cats as they are in private homes for foster care. This is our policy and no exception will be made. Thanks for your interest. As a policy for our rescue we do NOT adopt cats/kittens for gifts. We have to screen the adopter who will be owning the cat. Not a person who is thinking to give as a gift. So if you are looking to adopt for a family member LIVING IN THE SAME HOME AS YOU, then you can apply. We make no exception to this policy for those wanting to adopt a cat/kitten to give as a gift. If you are interested and want to pay the adoption fee to help the person applying to adopt a cat/kitten. we will then screen them and if approved, you may pay the adoption fee. This is a good option and has been done before. We have all our policies to protect our cats and appreciate you considering a rescue kitty to adopt.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small rescue located in Columbus, Ohio and surrounding area. Our cats come primarily from shelters and are then vetted and put into foster homes until they are placed in a forever home. We take in cats who are at risk then put them into rescue where they are safe and are at NO risk to be put to sleep. They are in private homes being fostered and then we work to get them adopted in homes to be loved and taken care of by their adoptive family for the remainder of their lives. We take adoptions very seriously. we are not a 501c3 at this time, but do hope to gain this status in the future. We are always taking donations to help pay vet bills and buy food for the cats in foster. We do not have 501c3 status so we can NOT give a tax deductible receipt for any donations. If you are interested in donating funds and would prefer to donate directly to the veterinary clinic we use in Columbus, please send an e-mail and we can share information with you where to donate.

STEPS WE FOLLOW TO ADOPT: We have to have an adoption application filled out email us for an application at ccrescue614@yahoo.com we require it to be filled out for consideration to adopt a cat. We then review the application and check references, after review and verification of information we do a phone interview. Following all information being shared and discussed in application or in the phone interview a home visit is scheduled. After all of these steps are finished an appointment to meet the cat is set up. All cats are in private foster homes and an appointment must be set to meet and all applicants must be screened before an appointment can be set NO EXCEPTIONS!
