What a sweet girl Miss Sterling is. She will sit next to you and beg for pets, kisses and hugs. She has been in the rescue for a while now and we would love for her to find her forever home this holiday season, She is a sweet girl and will do fine with another cat. We require an adoption application and approval before we set an appointment to meet the cats as they are in private homes for foster care. This is policy and no exception will be made
If you are interested in adopting Miss Sterling, please email us for an application to adopt her at ccrescue614@yahoo.com. This is our first step, we do not talk back and forth with email or phone calls without a filled out application. We ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS AND TIME IS LIMITED SO WE MUST HAVE AN APPLICATION TO CONSIDER YOU FOR ANY ADOPTION. . Her adoption fee is $200.00 (no negotiating) as all fees go toward past vet bills.
Thanks for your interest. As a policy for our rescue we do NOT adopt cats/kittens for gifts. We have to screen the adopter how will be owning the cat. Not a person who is thinking to give as a gift. So if you are looking to adopt for a family member LIVING IN THE SAME HOME AS YOU, then you can apply but if not living in your home we do not adopt. We make no exception to this policy for those wanting to adopt a cat/kitten to give as a gift. If you are interested and want to pay for the adoption fee for the person adopting that is a good way to help them adopt a cat/kitten and we then screen them to adopt and you pay for the adoption fee. This is a good option and has been done before.
We have all our policies to protect our cats and appreciate you thinking of a rescue kitty to adopt but not as a gift.
Rescue Group Info...
We are a small rescue located in Columbus, Ohio and surrounding area. Our cats come primarily from shelters and are then vetted and put into foster homes until they are placed in a forever home. We take in cats who are at risk then put them into rescue where they are safe and are at NO risk to be put to sleep. They are in private homes being fostered and then we work to get them adopted in homes to be loved and taken care of by their adoptive family for the remainder of their lives. We take adoptions very seriously. we are not a 501c3 at this time, but do hope to gain this status in the future. We are always taking donations to help pay vet bills and buy food for the cats in foster. We do not have 501c3 status so we can NOT give a tax deductible receipt for any donations. If you are interested in donating funds and would prefer to donate directly to the veterinary clinic we use in Columbus, please send an e-mail and we can share information with you where to donate.
If you would like to donate please email us. Thanks for considering helping our rescue kitties!
