Hi World,
I'm Trixie and I'm a bundle of love... and a whole lot of energy! I'm a sweet and rambunctiour little girl of about 8 pounds that gets along beautifully with older children and other dogs. Did I mention I'm playful? Just give me my toys and watch me entertain you! Mom calls me a little "pistol." I guess that means I'm fun, right?
My foster mom thinks I may be a Maltese-Yorkie mix and says I have the most adorable underbite - it makes me look like I'm smiling all the time (and I usually am!) Mom says I am playful and inquisitive and very spunky - but I also LOVE to be held and cuddled. Don't let my sweet nature fool you; I will fiercely protect my home from strangers. I'm not a yapper, but I will warn you when someone comes around that I don't know. Because I'm very smart, I can be quite willful - so I need someone who understands how to train me. Mom says I'm also very funny and I do very cute things to get her attention!
Although I am only a year and a half old, I have already had one litter when Bichon FurKids Rescue found me. I had escaped from my former home and was found under a car, scared and incredibly matted. It was obvious that I had been running the streets for a while, despite being a tiny little girl! Now that I am in a home with lots of love and attention, I'm feeling better and happier every day. I've already learned to go on doggy diapers -- as well as outside.
All I'm waiting for now is my forever family - where I can play with my toys, ride in cars, take long walks and cuddle when we get back. Please ask for me... I'm Trixie and I'm waiting to be yours.
