Marley's Story...
MARLEY
4 yo Lynx Point Himalayan

Beautiful Marley and his sweet sister Macy were surrendered to a local shelter when their owner passed away; the remaining family didn’t want the cats so this gorgeous pair got dumped. They were absolutely terrified and became super depressed and stopped eating in the shelter so we were called to come get them and work our magic. Within minutes of arriving at their new foster mom’s home they started chowing down, they just wanted to be in a home with people and like most Persians and Himalayans they were traumatized by being caged. They quickly warmed up to their foster mom and became super sweet babies, sleeping in bed with their temporary mommy and getting all the love they deserved. They are definitely a bonded pair and must stay together. They are ready for their new forever home and to never see the inside of a cage again!

Contact Ellen at (707) 592-8770 or Ellen@PurebredsPlus.org if you have questions, or send an Adoption Application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Davis Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Davis, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
