I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Butch's Story...
This little guy was found in Middletown with his leash caught on a piece of
power equipment and stuck in a puddle of mud. He is very timid and shows signs
of abuse; he cowers and retreats when you first meet him. However, after he
warms up a little he is very sweet, affectionate, and likes to cuddle. He is
friendly with other dogs and likes to play! He currently has a great foster but
is looking for a permanent place to call home.
Please complete an online application at www.rescueAhart.org if you'd like to meet Butch. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butch, a Cincinnati Chihuahua/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Chihuahua/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
