Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dewey is a gorgeous and shy, four-year-old brown tabby cat with magnificent green eyes looking for a new loving home. If Dewey looks scared, he has every right to be. Poor Dewey survived a fire at a southern Illinois animal shelter that destroyed some of the other occupants. He went to live in a foster home where once again there was a fire and poor Dewey was trapped in a burning building for the second time. Is it any wonder Dewey is insecure? This handsome cat is looking for a permanent home where he’ll be safe and adored. He gets along just fine with other cats, and he’s extremely shy with people. Dewey is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, virus-tested, and de-wormed. To meet and possibly adopt Dewey, please contact Lori l.dedic@att.net or 630-375-7976. His adoption fee of $110 supports the rescued dogs and cats of A Caring Place Humane Society.
