Montecarlo wants a new parent(s) to hug and give kisses to,. He is very affectionate and really wants a new permanent home soon. He will sleep next to you or will share your pillow if you let him. He will put his paw in your hand and hold onto you with boundless love. He is now in a room by himself at one of our fosters and needs a new family. ADOPTION FEE IS $150.00. We have tested him and he will do well with a laid back, non alpha cat. He is just fine with a cat friendly dog although it may take awhile (few days to a week) for him to get used to the dog. We will only consider a home that already had cats with their dog. Not a home where they want to test the dog. Monte would do fine also being the only cat of the house. We do not want him to go through more trauma than he has already been through. But a dog that is cat friendly would be a consideration. As a policy for our rescue we do NOT adopt cats/kittens for gifts. We have to screen the adopter how will be owning the cat. Not a person who is thinking to give as a gift. So if you are looking to adopt for a family member LIVING IN THE SAME HOME AS YOU, then you can apply but if not living in your home we do not adopt. We make no exception to this policy for those wanting to adopt a cat/kitten to give as a gift. If you are interested and want to pay for the adoption fee for the person adopting that is a good way to help them adopt a cat/kitten and we then screen them to adopt and you pay for the adoption fee. This is a good option and has been done before.
We have all our policies to protect our cats and appreciate you thinking of a rescue kitty to adopt but not as a gift
