My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This Rescued German Shepherd is currently in a foster home located in Valdosta, Ga.

E. Z. Ryder (Ryder) for short is an adorable 2 yr. old, Black and Cream German Shepherd. He was named E. Z. Ryder because he came to us all the way from Alabama and he truly was an easy “Rider” with all the different transporters that he had to go through to reach his destination. Ryder is now in a very loving foster home located in Valdosta GA. Ryder came to us from a very high kill shelter and this boy is extremely lucky to be with us today. He is as sweet as the day is long. Ryder is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick prevention and he is microchipped. Ryder did test positive for heartworms and we are currently treating him with our heartworm protocol. With our treatment he is able to run and play without confinement and usually all of our dogs are negative within 6-10 months depending on their levels of heartworm. We will supply his Ivermectin and he will need to be re-tested to see if he is negative in 6 months.

Ryder has had some issues with crate training and counter surfing but his foster parents are truly wonderful and have been working on his house manners. They report that he is making strides and that he is a very lovable German Shepherd. Ryder will do well in a home with other dogs he currently has a foster brother whom he really enjoys playing with. Cats he will chase out of curiosity. He is fine with children although a child check will need to be approved prior to adoption
