Frank's Story...
Frank is a big, handsome, gentle, and sweet, nine-year-old, 13-pound, male, green-eyed, plush grey cat looking for a loving home. Frank has lived with other cats as well as dogs. He’s fine with them, but would do just as well as the one and only happy lap cat in the home. Frank’s human lost her house to foreclosure, and he was lucky to find a foster home while he searches for a permanent place. Frank will cuddle with you as long as you will let him. He purrs and purrs, and drools with joy. He just adores attention and being loved. Frank is very well-behaved in the home. He always uses his litter box and scratching post. He is healthy, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines. To meet and possibly adopt Frank, please contact Bonnie at bonniebloom@sbcglobal.net or 773-866-2206. His adoption fee of $50 benefits rescued pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frank, a Chicago Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
