Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jersey is a sweet, friendly, happy, playful little girl looking for a foster or adopter. She is a year old and about 35lbs - very petite. She's completely housebroken and very eager to please. She is quite food oriented and bright so, I believe, highly traineable. She learned our routine and how to use the dog door quickly. She gets along well with my 2 dogs - plays constantly with the younger one. I don't know how she'd be with cats as we don't have one. She has been curious about the cats in the crates at adoption events but I have not noted any aggression in her at all towards anything. She does like to chase squirrles, a past-time she learned from my dog. She will be a bit timid at first whenever she meets new people or goes into new situations, but, as long as everyone is kind to her (and has TREATS,) she will warm up pretty fast. It took her about 2 days to relax in our home. I think she would be a great dog for a young family with kids. She's very easy-going and has a lot of energy to spend in play. In spite of all this energy she is easy to manage and very well-behaved, basically doing whatever she is told. If you give her a bone it will keep her still and occupied for hours. I think, overall, she is a great little dog and would make someone a wonderful, loyal pet. All she wants is love and to love someone back - oh, and TREATS.
