Sushi's Story...
Anyone care for Sushi? Meet our friendly 2-year old Chihuahua mix, about 8 lbs, who was found as a stray and taken to a crowded shelter. Sushi was scared and confused at the pound, and had a slim chance making it out alive, so we had to save this cutie. Now Sushi is so relieved and grateful to be in a caring foster home.

Sushi is still shy and afraid of most men. But gets along with dogs, kids and women. He's a petite and leggy guy that has a smooth and shiny coat. He is happy to curl up next to you or in your lap. Sushi deserves a good and loving home. Please help give him a happy ending.

You can meet Sushi in person at our adoption fairs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sushi, a Encino Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Encino, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
