My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cupcake is a very special dog looking for her special forever home. Cupcake was literally saved from death by Lab Rescue with minutes to spare. Her owner felt he could no longer care for her and was ready to put her down when Lab Rescue intervened. Cupcake has a history of seizures but now after 5 months her medications have been adjusted so that her seizures are infrequent and mild. She is a very loving gorgeous 4 year old yellow lab. She weighed 117 lbs when we got her and is now a slim 98 lbs. Cupcake loves her walks. She does not pull but she will stop - to sniff !! She loves to sniff and sometimes needs a little reminder to keep moving. She gets along fine with other dogs but would be just as happy as the only dog. Cats might be too much of a temptation. She is used to sleeping in a crate at night and does well. She has been very trustworthy left alone with indoor/outdoor access. She is good around children and is very gentle although because of her size could knock over little ones. Are you the family that will give Cupcake the home she needs? Call your family rep now.
