Reeses and Ninja came from a man who had gotten them from the Weatherford Animal Shelter back in May for his girlfriend who had moved in with him. The day I got the call was when he decided he could no longer keep the kitties because his girlfriend had moved out and did not take them with her. He said he couldn’t keep them because they remind him of her and it breaks his heart. It was really very sad. I agreed to take them and foster them under WSAL. He was very happy that they would be given a chance to find a good home. Reeses and Ninja have their shots but are not altered. They are brother and sister and they are about 4 months old. They have personality plus. Ninja’s original name was shadow, but when he plays, he uses both paws. Reeses is the calmer of the two, but still very playful. When these kitties aren’t playing and are in their loving modes, they both purr really loud. They show plenty of affection. It would really be nice if they could be adopted together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ninja II, a White Settlement Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in White Settlement, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in White Settlement.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in White Settlement already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a White Settlement breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in White Settlement paves the way for another one to be saved.
